....And He's Up!

We figured Kai had learned to pull up into a standing position this
weekend when he crawled out of his crib, but we hadn't witnessed it
until today. I was lying on the floor playing with him when he crawled
over and pulled himself up on my hip to a standing position. He
couldn't hold his balance, but he definitely pulled up. He then
started trying to use everything and anything to stand, even my
nursing bag. Boy are we in trouble now! Better pics to come...

Kai is enjoying his new toy, a ball with activities on it after an
exciting day at Michelle's. They took a fieldtrip today to the
library, where a juggler performed. Michelle said that Kai laughed and
had a good time with the rest of the kids, however he apparently
watched the other kids, thinking they were funnier than the juggler!

We lowered the matress in Kai's crib to keep him from climbing out and
I put his animal bumpers back in to keep him from banging his head on
the slats. He was so excited, can you tell?

Pool Anyone?
Today we got to enjoy our pool with our next door neighbors, and we all had a great time. Kai impressed everyone with his underwater feats. This was his first time going underwater, and he really seemed to enjoy it.
